The hands-on instruction Plumbing program in Continuing Education at ACC has been specifically designed to deliver the skills you need in a short period of time so you can enter this high growth occupation quickly.

The Plumbing Continuing Education program consists of three (3) course sections:

  • CNBT-1001 Introduction to the Construction Industry
  • PFPB-1013 Introduction to the Plumbing Trade
  • PFPB-2009 Residential Construction Plumbing I

? Am I able to get a job after the program?

Companies will begin in-person visits to the class after the 5th week from the course start. It is the responsibility of the student to have their resume ready and submit it to employers during their visit.

? How hands-on are the courses?

The courses within the Plumbing program have been designed so that 80% of them are practical application.

? What materials, if any, do I need?

None. ACC Continuing Education provides all the necessary materials.

? What types of jobs could I get after completion?

Commercial Service providers:

  • Sewer Service helper
  • New Installation helper
  • Water system repairs

Residential Service providers:

  • Service helper
  • New Installation helper

? Can I skip, or "test out" of certain courses due to job experience?

No. The CE Plumbing model is design so that all course sections correlate with each other.

? What courses must I take, and in what order are they taken?

The Plumbing program consist of three (3) courses, which must be completed in the following order:
